German Gregorean Techno, Electric Violin, Electronica Industrial Punk

I had only a little bit of time today, so I've only got a few songs to share.

~When you think of German metal, industrial techno, and Gregorian chanting, what's the first thing to come to mind? E Nomine, of course. Formed in 1999, they started this project to make something they call "Monumental Dance," a combination of trance, techno, and Gregorian chanting, with some rock and metal influences. Anything by them is quite original, and very interesting. Das Omen from their third album Die Prophezeiung released in 2003 is a good example of their musical style. Enjoy!

~Vanessa Mae is a classically trained pianist and violinist. Playing piano since she was 3, and violin from 5, she has quite a lot of practice. Though she plays classical music, she does write some of her own music too. On top of that, the style in which she plays is different than other classical artists. Playing on an electric violin, and adding in techno elements to her songs, she completely brings classical songs and artists like Vivaldi and Beethoven's 5th back into popularity. The song I chose to share is called Devil's Trill, originally written by Giuseppe Tartini, and is from her album, the best of Vanessa Mae, released in 2002. It stand to mention that the Devil's Trill is considered one of the hardest songs for a violinist to play, due to having to master several different aspects of playing the violin just to attempt it. Have fun!

~Lastly I have an up and coming rock group described as industrial, electronica, and punk. Mindless Self Induldgence, or more commonly know as MSI, has started of as a little know group in New York, and is slowly becoming quite popular. I personally have seen them live, and they are some of the best stage men I've seen in a great while. Off their album titled Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy, their Second album released in 2000, Kill the Rock is a great song of theirs that has not seen as much publicity as their others have. Please enjoy!

Thanks for taking the time to read, and I look forward to getting even more readers and listeners. As always, if you have a request, or if you know a great obscure song or artist, Please email me at Alexander.the.okay@gmail.com, and I am more than willing to help accommodate!
